Our Story

Heritage Shea and Nuts Enterprise is a Ghanaian registered company based in the northern region. The company was started in 2018 on the basis that business can and should produce social good and contribute to the sustainability of our planet's ecosystem. The core business of heritage shea is the production and distribution of traditional hand-crafted shea butter.

Nuts are carefully inspected and gathered by our local suppliers who are mainly female small-scale farmers within the region. There begins the shea butter production process. The nuts are then processed under strict best practices to ensure that no nutrients are lost and all the valuable aspects of the shea are maintained.

The resulting 100% natural shea butter is then packaged and distributed to our various clients. We currently distribute locally but are looking steadfastly working towards obtaining international clients.
